Avocados, Eggs and Butter Baby

The foundation of my keto diet is avocados, eggs and butter.  These ingredients help build great meals that taste fantastic.

Vegetables are delicious with drawn butter drizzled on top.  Avocados are creamy and delicious.  I use guacamole as dressing for a salad.

Eggs are the foundation that allow wonderful creations.  Omelettes with butter and avocados are wonderful for breakfast.

This diet is best done with foods that are low carb and delicious.  You can stick to a diet that includes things you love to eat.  One more item needs to go on this list.

BACON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be creative and include variety in your diet.  You can sustain a diet that is delicious.  You may have other foods that you prefer and this is the point.

Come up with your top 3 items to include as your foundation for a delicious keto diet plan.

Today has been a good day.  My eating is on point today.

Salads are Low Carb Option When Eating Out

I was pleasantly surprised to find a delicious salad option at the burger place I brought the family to today.

Santa Barbara Cobb had the grilled chicken, bacon, blue cheese crumbles, avocado, tomatoes and balsamic dressing.

The girls were mowing on burgers and fries but I was perfectly happy with this delicious salad.  I forgot to take a picture to post but it was good!

It filled me up and I enjoyed it.  Low carb eating can be delicious when you search out the great options out there.

Started Back on the Keto Diet Today

I gained some weight and it was completely due to the following.

Bread!
Pasta!
Nachos!
Cookies!
More Bread!

I went completely off the rails and went back to all the "comfort food" that I grew up loving.

Pants fit tighter.  I fall asleep on the couch due to a food coma brought on by excessive carbohydrates.

Bam!  The weight comes back when the carbs come back.

So it is back on the diet for this fat boy.  Back to very low carbs and more healthy fats and protein.

I already know the results I will get because I have been there and done that.  My body reacts best to a low carb diet.  Bring on the steak!  Bring on the avocados and bring on the veggies sauteed in butter baby!

Ready or not here I come.  Boom Shaka Laka!  Where is that book I need to thumb through to do a refresher course on this diet?
